医学博士，主任医师，教授、博士研究生导师，现任平谷区医院内分泌科主任，药物临床试验机构办公室主任，主持内分泌科医、教、研工作和平谷区医院药物临床试验机构办公室管理工作。
2012年以来参加或主持国家级市级区级科研项目23项，国际合作2项，独立主持市级3项（北京自然科学基金面上项目2项，首都卫生发展科研专项项目1项），独立主持区级项目2项，首都医科大学教改立项1项。2017年获批GCP认证专业至今，作为分中心PI参加药物临床试验69项（其中药物63项，器械类6项，国际多中心项目14项，国家1类新药项目24项）。共发表国内外论文93篇（第一或者通讯作者发表中文核心期刊36篇，SCI 52篇，其中第一或通讯作者发SCI 22篇）包括《Nature aging》JCEM等国际知名期刊，主编科普读物著作一篇。
目前任中华医学会糖尿病学分会流行病与预防学组委员；中国老年医学学会内分泌代谢分会常务委员；北京糖尿病防治协会常务理事;北京内分泌代谢病学会代谢性心血管病专业委员会副主任委员；中国医疗保健国际交流促进会全科医学分会常务委员；北京内分泌代谢病学会糖尿病专业委员会/慢病管理/诊疗安全与费效评价专业委员会常务委员；北京医师协会内分泌医师分会/减重与代谢专科医师分会理事；中国老年保健协会药物临床研究与评价专业委员会委员；北京医学会糖尿病分会委员；北京围手术期医学研究会减重和代谢专业委员会常务委员；首都医科大学内分泌与代谢病学系系务委员会委员；平谷区慢病防治与老年学学会会长；《实用心脑肺血管病杂志》编委，《中国全科医学杂志》审稿专家，北京市卫健委健康科普专家。
多次被评为平谷区优秀共产党员，先后被评为平谷区第三届十大杰出青年,第二届平谷榜样、北京市三八红旗手,全国三八红旗手，首都优秀医务工作者，北京市创先争优优秀共产党员，首都劳动奖章。先后2次获得平谷区科技进步2等奖；先后4次获得平谷区组织部D类人才资助项目；2次获得北京市委组织部D类人才资助项目；2次获得平谷区组织部高级人才工作室挂牌；全国优秀内分泌医师。
当选为北京市第十一届、十二届党代表。
