Personal Profile
李佳瑞,博士毕业于北京大学,生物信息学专业。围绕“病原在宿主内的异质性”展开研究,以低频突变的检出和生物信息学分析为切入点,在技术、理论和应用三个层面取得显著进展。技术上,通过区域化富集建库和优化贝叶斯算法,成功将低频突变的检出率和精度提升10倍;理论上,引入隐变量和迭代相关的贝叶斯算法,实现病原基因组识别从“种”到“株”的升级;应用方面,将方法用于COVID-19研究,提出了病毒“两步进化”理论,即早期正选择导致蛋白改变的积累,为后期负选择提供重要储存库。该理论首次揭示了正选择推动的新冠病毒的快速演化,预测了免疫逃逸位点,并在后期Delta和Omicron病毒株中得到验证,为疫情防控提供了关键理论依据。先后主持国家自然科学基金青年基金、北京市医管中心“青苗”人才计划等项目;以第一或通讯作者在Nature Communications、Microbiome、Cell Reports等国际同行评议期刊发表论文多篇。
