赵晖副教授长期从事孤独症的大动物如食蟹猴和家犬模型的构建和机制研究,主持国自然青年基金一项,成果以第一作者和通讯作者(共同)发表在Cell Research, Cell Discovery,National Science Review, Molecular Psychiatry, Molecular Autism, Translational Psychiatry等国际刊物。主持参与了SHANK3突变猴,CHD8突变猴,VPA药物诱导猴模型研究孤独症。孤独症是一类神经发育异常,影响了大约1%的儿童,虽然找到了大量致病基因和风险因子并构建了啮齿动物模型,但是仍缺乏明确的共性病理变化机制,孤独症小鼠模型的发现与病人脑组织变化吻合性差。赵晖于2017年博士毕业后开始构建Shank3突变犬模型并大量繁育,希望通过研究更接近人类的大动物,复现病人中出现的病理变化和行为异常,并给出区别于小鼠模型的新机制解释。针对新的病理机制解释,在家犬模型开发孤独症干预措施和治疗手段。
