主要研究方向为口腔疾病的病因学研究。针对口腔罕见单基因遗传疾病,进行致病基因和发病机制探讨;揭示环境污染物对口腔相关疾病发生发展的影响。曾经在英国University College London和美国University of Connecticut Health Center留学。承担国家自然科学基金、北京市自然科学基金和其他省部级课题共9项,在SCI收录杂志发表学术论文26篇,获授权国家发明专利2项。目前为中国遗传学会科普委员会委员、国家自然科学基金评审专家、中华口腔医学会遗传病与罕见病专业委员会委员、北京口腔医学会生物医学专委会委员、北京市卫生系统高层次卫生技术人才学科骨干和北京市优秀人才。
