首都医科大学宣武医院神经内科主任医师，教授，博士研究生导师。从事神经内科临床工作30余年。对帕金森病及运动障碍病诊断及治疗有较深入的研究，主要方向是帕金森病及运动障碍病认知障碍。
中国老年学老年医学学会老年脑疾病分会副主任委员，中华医学会神经内科分会帕金森病与运动障碍学组委员，中国医师协会神经内科分会神经遗传学组委员，北京医学会帕金森病与运动障碍分会委员，北京医学会医学科普分会委员,《中国老年学杂志》《中国免疫学杂志》编委,《临床神经病学杂志》《首都医科大学学报》审稿专家。
曾获得及参与过国家及北京市多项科研基金项目，2017年获得科技部国家重点研发课题“灵芝提取物延缓尚未开始抗PD药物治疗患者疾病进展及非运动症状有效性评价和规范化研究”。参与完成的课题“轻度认知障碍和痴呆的发病机制与临床研究”分别获得中华医学科技奖二等奖、教育部科学技术进步奖二等奖、北京市科学技术奖二等奖。2018年参与完成的教学课题“神经病学网络视频公开课课程与课件建设"获得北京市高等教育教学成果奖二等奖。在国内外核心期刊上发表论文100余篇，参加《神经内科疾病临床诊疗规范教程》等多部专业书籍的编写。
当前正在进行项目：帕金森病认知障碍早期诊断相关研究
主持帕金森病认知障碍相关疾病队列建设，探索建立更适合中国帕金森病认知障碍的早筛量表体系及相关界值，目前已完成单中心研究，正在进行多中心队列研究。
