本科和硕士研究生毕业于重庆医科大学儿科系（硕士导师钱永如教授），2005年博士毕业于首都医科大学儿科学系（导师杨永弘教授）。此后一直在首都医科大学附属北京儿童医院北京市儿科研究所工作，现为研究员、教授、硕士和博士生导师。主要从事儿科常见感染（尤其呼吸道和皮肤感染）常见病原菌致病机制、抗生素耐药机制和分子流行病学研究，尤其是肺炎链球菌、流感嗜血杆菌、卡他莫拉菌、百日咳杆菌、A族和B族链球菌、金黄色葡萄球菌等病原致病机制和分子流行病学研究。2008年获北京市科技新星称号，2011年入选北京市卫生系统高层次卫生技术人才培养计划学科骨干，2012年度北京市“十百千”卫生人才培养专项经费“百”层次人选。主持国自然项目3项，北京市自然、北京市科委项目等省部级项目6项。以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文40余篇，核心期刊论文百余篇。作为参与人获得科技奖项7项。
团队主要工作方向是开展儿童常见感染性疾病病原的致病机制及其分子流行病学监测，主要涉及儿童感染常见细菌性病原学诊断、细菌耐药性监测、及分子流行病学研究、抗生素合理应用监测等内容；2018年微生物研究室更名后皮肤疾病研究室，拓展了科研内容，与皮肤科合作开始对皮肤相关病毒性感染开展研究。现在研究室有研究研究1名，副研究员4名，副主任技师2名，助理研究员3名，博士生导师1名，硕士生导师1名。
